During my time on council, I am very proud to share that we were able to make the streets safer for our residents and our kids who take Citrus Street to school and work every day.

Accomplishing More for Eastvale Families

in the past four years, together with my colleagues, we were able to accomplish the following for our residents:

Public safety 🚔

  • Added additional deputies and sheriffs to keep our families safe.

  • Funded the building of our own police station on Hamner Ave and Limonite Ave.

  • Funded the addition of a third fire station in the city of Eastvale.

  • Installed automated license plate readers at the major entrances and exits of the city.

Infrastructure 🔨

  • Improved Citrus Street (from Harrison Ave to Sumner Ave) from one lane to two lanes each way, and added a bike lane for safety, especially for ERHS students.

  • Added a center line on Cedar Creek Road to reduce speeding within our neighborhoods.

  • Hamner Avenue Bridge Widening Project and expansion in partnership with the city of Norco and RCTC.

  • Continued to assess and add crosswalks and stop signs at crucial intersections.

Hi Jocelyn, we are residents in Eastvale. Thank you for putting the crosswalk lines at the intersection of Cedar Creek & 65th St. We appreciate you taking quick action after we shared with you my mom’s car accident at that location.

Economic Development 🌆

  • Began development of the Leal Property (160 acres of Downtown Eastvale).

  • Attracted more quality and healthy dining options for our families.

  • Increased the city revenues by over >100% in the past four years without raising our sales tax.

Youth & Seniors 🏫

  • Secured $50 million for our own library, to be built on Hamner Ave & Limonite Ave.

  • Spearheaded and launched the Eastvale City Youth Council to increase youth engagement in our city government.

  • Designated specific portions of the city for senior housing.

  • Actively working with partnering agencies to secure funding for Eastvale’s first Senior Center.
